The Specialty Food Shop, located in The Hospital for Sick Children, provides products and services to children and adults with special dietary needs. We offer the following specialty products: Energy Boosting Supplements, Allergen-Friendly Foods, Gluten- & Wheat-Free Foods, Infant Feeding Supplies, Infant Formulas, Low Protein & Metabolic Products and Thickening Products.

Our website offers online shopping for over 600 specialty foods, up-to-date nutrition articles, information for health professionals, recipes and an "Ask A Dietitian" feature to get reliable and quick answers to your nutrition questions.

The Staff
The Specialty Food Shop prides itself on being a source of reliable nutrition information.  The shop has registered dietitians on staff who respond to customer inquiries via e-mail, in-store and by phone.  The shop also employs nutrition associates who have nutrition education, a diet technician who dispenses products from Ministry of Health programs and an assistant manager with a degree in food and nutrition.
